The shift from focus to fuzziness in the background needed to be just right. It was a very difficult job that took us much longer than expected but now we are very proud of the result.It was critical to create the perfect portrait lens.
Since the original Glaukar lens was used on the “Plattenkameras” of their time, its successor had to be reinvented from scratch. But due to its specially coated lenses, it produces a fascinating mixture of sharpness, strong colors and, along with 12 aperture blades, wonderful bokeh effects.
